Ex-couple Jema Galanza, outside hitter of Creamline Cool Smashers, and Deanna Wong, Setter of Choco Mucho Flying Titans, rendered the fans on their feet inside the court after executing numerous face-offs during the Premier Volleyball League on April 3.

The fans showed their support for the two players face-to-face and online.

Audiences inside the arena totally got their money’s worth with the players’ performances inside the court, especially with the multiple attacks of Galanza against the blocks of Wong.

The tickets were sold out with 14,322 attendees, for game two of the semi-finals.

Galanza was named the best player with 18 points, 16 attacks, one block, and one ace. Some supporters of the opponent even showed their support for her.

Twitter users flooded Wong and Galanza with comments about being in one frame and being a good sport towards each other. “Deanna smiles with a big wave and Jema’s smile with a little wave. They are cool with each other.” a fan tweeted along with a photo of Galanza and Wong waving at each other.

“Deanna was smiling and reached out her hand just for a shake but Jema rejected. So disappointed [lang] how unprofessional she is.” another fan tweeted.

Some TikTok users uploaded a clip of Galanza greeting the De Jesus family. This pertains to Ella De Jesus, who is rumored to be Galanza’s new partner Although Choco Mucho got the first set with 25-23 points, Creamline scratched and clawed their way back into the game and ended up having the rest of the sets
