Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Meralco Bolts will brace anew for a grind out series after Ginebra faced defeat in their previous match in the 2022 PBA Governors' Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on April 13.
The 2022 PBA Governors’ Cup has reached game three of the best-of-seven series.
In favor of Meralco, the final score was 83-74, led by import player, Tony Bishop, scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds.
The tremendous strength on the defense of Meralco led Ginebra to record the lowest scoring output in the finals and the whole game conference.
‘’It’s all effort, all heart. We’re down early but we stayed together, played defense, and battled hard. That’s what we did,” said Tony Bishop after the tough game against Ginebra.
Will the Meralco spark again in the next game and seal the series into 4-1 or will the Ginebra Kings come back stronger after their tough loss to tie the series?
