The official website of Malacañang, which also is the storehouse of the Presidential Library-Museum (PLM), is temporarily sequestered due to updates of its different content, the museum administration said on March 16.

The administration released statements following the concerns about historical records, archives, and the Martial Law regime has been deleted from its website.

“The website ‘Malacanang.gov.ph.’ is merely suspended following measures to update the content therein and improve its security features,” PLM said in a Facebook statement.

The PLM shared their assurance that all historical records are undefiled.

“All historical archives of the said website have not been compromised and will be welcoming to the public at the soonest possible” they added.

Former Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office Undersecretary Manolo Quezon III were the first to perceive that the website had gone down.

The PLM asserts that its objective is to preserve, manage, and promote the history and legacy of the Philippine presidency.
