Vice President Leni Robredo tops the Presidential seat, having an 89.2 percent margin while the Kabataan Party-list dominates the party-list bets, revealed in an online mock election survey, on March 22.

The total number of respondents is 1,296, with 1,197 of the voters selecting Vice President Leni Robredo which has a percentage of 92.36 percent.

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos gathered 41 votes (3.16 percent). And Manila Mayor Isko Moreno received 11 votes (0.85 percent). While 28 students are still undecided about the voting of candidates.

According to Maria Mangsat, a fourth-year student and a member of the AdU-PULITIKA, the online mock elections were headed by Andrea Janin Licuanan and Deputy Minister Maria Cristina Cadacio.

“The Publicity Materials was headed by the Ministry of Advertisement and Promotion, Ms. Justin Mae Estilles and Catherine Cloi Perez. Lastly, the Executive Committee of AdU-PULITIKA processed the computed data and the supervising head as well,” she said.

Mangsat also mentioned the importance of mock elections as a responsibility.

“National mock election participation teaches not just how to operate a voting machine or fill out a voter registration card and paper ballot, but also the value of exercising one's responsibility as a citizen and expressing one's views,” she added.

The AdU-PULITIKA of Adamson University launched an online mock election in preparation for the upcoming 2022 election voting in the Philippines. This was intended for students to be aware and discern political knowledge.

The mock elections do not only focus on the presidential bet, but also focus on the vice-presidential candidates, senatorial candidates, and different party-list groups.

With the aid of tally votes and Google Forms, they were able to gather the percentage of votes.
